BATTERIES

Our newest division, Consortia Electronic Systems (CES), is the result of Consortia’s acquisition of Aircraft Electrical Systems in August 2020. AES was the brainchild and vision of Richard Lukso, Sr., a military veteran and one of the original pioneering battery engineers who worked with Bill Lear. Richard Lukso was one of the authors of the airborne battery certification documents, RTCA DO-293a (Nickel-metal-hydride batteries) and RTCA DO-311 (Lithium-Ion Batteries). Together with his sons and grandson, they have created innovative new battery applications and power management, responsive to reliability failures plaguing operators. We are very excited to bring the ‘Lukso’ team into the CAG family and showcase their talents.
